ArtsChange will present an exhibition addressing issues of living with mental illness, both demystifying the illness and addressing the associated stigma. The exhibition will visually address the rocky terrain faced by those with mental illness and individual roads towards recovery and well-functioning with work by patents working in collaboration with Richmond Artist Lauren Ari. Some of the creative treatment modalities used in treatment will also be illustrated in the exhibition to de-mystify treatment and draw out similarities inherent in the process that all people go through in facing life struggles.
