ArtsChange supports and collaborates with the Verde School collaborative garden project in a variety of ways: raising funds, work parties at the garden, finding youth and elders to volunteer in garden and cooking projects, special teaching programs, and art making on food and nutrition. This year ArtsChange is looking forward to bringing a 14-week after school puppetry program to Verde, working closely with the 5th grade Peace leaders. The students will have the opportunity to see puppet and live music performances, and make and film their work.
