September 22 – November 7
Second Hand: Creative Reuse in Times of Less, curated by Sharon Siskin is an exhibition of artwork made from the reuse of discards. Artworks in this exhibition range from the functional, to the humorous, to the poetic. They all help us to imagine new life for objects formerly thought of as trash and how we can reclaim the "second hand" for ourselves and also for the planet.
The exhibition features artwork by Sandy Drobny, James Gouldthorpe, Dee Hibbert-Jones, Liz Mamorsky, Remi Rubel and Daphne Ruff.
ArtsChange invites you to join us for our art opening and creative reuse workshop on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, 12:00 – 2:00 pm. There will be a noontime luncheon for $5. Please RSVP by September 19.
